The client needed a bankable, regulation-compliant storage configuration for its Spanish reference assets, both standalone and hybridised with PV.
One Hub Energy delivered a techno-economic and regulatory assessment of energy storage plants in both standalone and PV-hybridised configurations. The work combined regulatory and legal advisory to ensure compliance with current and forthcoming rules, project simulations of hybrid and standalone configurations to allow strategic optimisation, the design of tailored technical solutions for each configuration, and comprehensive financial analysis of economic viability. Techno-economic modelling and regulatory feasibility were run on the 25 MW and 100 MW BESS reference plants.
