BESS origination strategy for a 300 MW pipeline in Spain
Origination strategy for a 300 MW / 600 MWh standalone BESS pipeline, giving the client a clear technical and commercial roadmap for development.
An experienced international IPP needed a credible development roadmap to originate a large standalone storage pipeline in a market it had not yet entered.
One Hub Energy produced the regulatory framework review — regulation overview, gaps, expected administrative and market-rule updates, market rules and opportunities, and the current status and room for origination. On that basis we defined the strategy to originate and develop 300 MW of BESS in Spain, benchmarked against deployment status and experience in other countries. One Hub Energy then provided technical office support through the origination phases: SPV set-up, placement of bonds, land lease contract negotiations and grid access request processes.
