Technical due diligence of the 49.99 MWp Puerto Real III PV plant
Independent technical due diligence of the Puerto Real III PV plant (49.99 MWp) in Spain for MET Group, delivered in Q1-2022. One Hub Energy later supported the buy-side assessment of the same asset.
MET Group was assessing the Puerto Real III PV plant, a 49.99 MWp asset in Spain. An acquisition decision on an operating-scale PV plant cannot rest on the seller's own technical narrative. The client needed an independent engineering read of the asset, and it needed it inside a Q1-2022 window.
One Hub Energy acted as independent technical adviser to the buyer. The team ran the technical due diligence of the 49.99 MWp Puerto Real III PV plant and produced a single TDD report as the deliverable. The work was scoped and sequenced to close inside Q1-2022, in line with the client's transaction calendar. One Hub Energy subsequently supported MET Group on the buy-side due diligence and M&A advisory for the acquisition of the same PV asset.
"The TDD report was delivered. MET Group went into the transaction with an independent technical position on the asset rather than a vendor-supplied one, and One Hub Energy stayed on the file for the buy-side DD and M&A advisory phase."
