Buy-side technical due diligence on the 147.32 MWp AUVEN PV portfolio, Spain

MET Group was assessing the acquisition of the AUVEN PV portfolio in Spain: 147.32 MWp spread across three separate plants. A portfolio assembled from independently developed projects does not carry a single technical history — permitting, land, grid connection and design decisions differ site by site. The buyer needed an independent read of the technical, construction and contractual condition of each asset before committing.

One Hub Energy acted as independent technical adviser to the buyer. Each asset was reviewed on its own terms: Bluesol 1 & 2 (65 MW), Berberana 1 (49.9 MW) and Censequero 1 (32.3 MWp, Agoncillo, La Rioja). Per site, the review covered permitting, grid connection, land plots, technology, plant and evacuation design, environmental impacts and energy yield. The technical package was examined together with the construction and contractual documentation of the portfolio. Site-level findings were then consolidated into a single portfolio view so that issues remained traceable to the asset that generated them.
