Technical due diligence for a 50 MW PV acquisition

The acquisition of a 49.97 MW PV project had to be assessed on the developer's documentation alone, with no operating history to fall back on.

One Hub Energy reviewed the project documentation and ran a desktop site assessment, a technical assessment of the project design and a solar resource and energy yield assessment. The scope covered a technical review of the preliminary land option, lease and purchase contracts — site area, connection infrastructure and accesses — a grid connection assessment based on the technical documents drafted by the developer during the connection application period, and a permitting, regulation and administrative process review summarising the applicable process and identifying project status. One Hub Energy drafted the full conclusions and recommendations and held direct interlocution with the developer to gather additional information and clarifications.
