Hybridisation feasibility for a 113 MWp PV portfolio
Techno-economic and regulatory feasibility assessment for a 113 MWp PV hybridisation, supporting the client's BESS strategy.
The client had to define a portfolio-level storage strategy and quantify the real upside of hybridising its Spanish PV assets.
One Hub Energy started from a regulatory framework review covering current regulation, gaps, expected administrative and market-rule updates, market rules and opportunities and the room for origination. On that base we defined the energy storage strategy, benchmarked against deployment status and experience in other countries, and ran the techno-economic assessment of BESS projects in both standalone and hybridised configurations: additional yield potential, cover against low PV capture prices, economic feasibility and long-term valuation on our in-house dispatch and price-taker BESS model, plus support on the preliminary financial model. A comprehensive financial analysis closed the assessment.
