EPC contracting advisory and construction supervision for a 49.9 MW PV plant
End-to-end management of the EPC tender for a PV plant and its substation, followed by quality control and construction supervision through to commissioning and provisional acceptance.
The owner had to select the right EPC contractor for the plant and its substation on an objective, comparable basis, and then hold quality, schedule and safety through construction.
One Hub Energy led the whole EPC tender: preparation of the tender documentation package (RFP), full management of the tender process, and technical and economic comparison of the offers received from leading EPC companies in Spain and Europe, with a recommendation balancing both dimensions, plus support during contract negotiation and closing. In the construction phase One Hub Energy provided technical assistance to the owner: review of the construction engineering, owner's site management, quality supervision across the electrical, mechanical and civil disciplines, health and safety coordination, and commissioning supervision through to provisional acceptance (PAC).
