Technical asset management of Puerto Real III: 50 MWp PV with a co-located 44 MW / 90 MWh battery
One Hub Energy acts as technical asset manager for Puerto Real III on behalf of MET Group. The mandate covers the 50 MWp / 44 MWn PV plant and its 44 MW / 90 MWh battery system under a single technical scope.
Puerto Real III is not a single-technology plant. A 50 MWp / 44 MWn PV array and a 44 MW / 90 MWh battery share the same site and the same point of connection, so they have to be supervised as one asset rather than as two independent installations. MET Group required a technical counterpart on the owner's side covering both parts of the plant.
One Hub Energy provides technical asset management services for Puerto Real III. The scope covers the PV plant and its battery storage system together, so that the hybrid asset is followed from a single technical perspective. One Hub Energy works from the owner's side, as MET Group's technical counterpart on the asset. The engagement sits alongside One Hub Energy's storage modelling and valuation work, which informs how the battery side of the asset is assessed.
"Technical asset management services are delivered across both the PV plant and the battery system. The mandate is a continuing technical asset management service rather than a one-off study, so no closed transaction outcome is recorded."
