BESS integration for high-power EV charging stations
Design and application process to couple battery storage to high-power charging stations, managing all interaction with DNOs and BESS suppliers, including regulatory compliance.
Battery storage had to be coupled to high-power charging stations while meeting grid connection requirements and regulatory conditions site by site.
One Hub Energy provided the design and the full application process to couple the BESS to the charging stations. Regulatory compliance advisory aligned the project with current regulation and anticipated policy shifts. Design coordination covered the integration design and all engagement with the Distribution Network Operators and the BESS suppliers. On permitting, One Hub Energy prepared the detailed documentation required for the DNO applications and handled the submission process, then monitored the integration to keep it aligned with the client's technical specifications and operational standards.
"The BESS integration design and the regulatory application process were delivered for the high-power charging stations."
