DiÓptiBa: artificial intelligence to optimize renewable energy and storage management

Eurecat and One Solar promote an AI platform to optimize the management and profitability of energy projects.

DIOPTIBA was born as a research and development (R&D) project between the Applied Artificial Intelligence Unit of Eurecat and the startup One Hub Energia, S.L.

Its objective is to develop a software platform aimed at owners of storage technologies (batteries) and renewable energies to increase the profitability of their projects.

DIOPTIBA proposes decision support tools for optimal asset management, maximizing their performance based on participation in different electricity markets. The project will be used to explore different continuous learning models and the design of architectures that support the data value chain. Ultimately, the value proposition is to integrate technical and economic criteria into forecasting algorithms and thus optimize the energy management strategy.
