We are currently looking for an Expert Energy Storage Engineer to join our high performance team. We are looking for a person with initiative, technical and strategic vision, capable of leading technology assessments and procurement processes for large-scale BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) solutions and with negotiation skills who wants to grow with us in a challenging and transforming environment.

📝 What will you do in this role?

✅You will explore the technologies of the future, analyzing the current landscape and roadmaps of leading energy storage manufacturers.

✅You will evaluate technical proposals and supply and warranty contracts, providing key advice to minimize risks and optimize the investment of utilities, IPPs and investors.

✅You will be a key player in strategic negotiations with manufacturers and integrators, extracting critical information on products, performance guarantees and service conditions.

✅You will build technical databases, feeding digital twin models and simulation and energy optimization tools.

✅You will define quality standards and best practices for installers and O&M contractors, ensuring flawless execution.

✅You will collaborate with the engineering and development teams, participating in pre-feasibility assessments and technical documentation for administrative and environmental permits.

You will perform technical due diligences and project evaluations, proposing technical, design and equipment improvements.

✅You will contribute to the design of innovative business models for hybrid, independent or industrial self-consumption projects.

✅You will support the commercial and business development team, adapting the value proposition to market trends and participating in negotiations with key customers.

📍Whatare we looking for in you?

✅At least 4 years of professional experience in renewable energy projects.

Demonstrable experience in procurement and negotiation of equipment and/or EPC services for renewable energy projects. Previous experience in BESS (battery energy storage systems) procurement will be particularly valued, although procurement experience in photovoltaic or wind projects will be considered.

Technical knowledge in energy storage solutions, with emphasis on BESS technologies: products and manufacturers in the market for utility scale applications, knowledge of equipment KPIs and main performance and degradation characteristics of battery cells.

✅ In-depth knowledge of the electricity sector: project development life cycle, stakeholders and their roles in the different project phases, regulation of electricity markets.

✅Experience in engineering tasks and in the generation and interpretation of single-line diagrams (SLDs), drawings, etc.

✅Proven application of analysis, design and testing to solve complex engineering problems.
